Billy Jack was likely the original movie bad ass when I was a kid. I have vague memories of seeing it at the Showtown Drive In Movie theater smack dab in my hometown of Temple, TX with the folks, and baby brother, when I was a strapping 6 or 7, in 1971. Yes...I am that old. I know, weird to me too.
All these years later I ran across a video clip on the YouTubes that brought Billy kicking into today. I had to pay homage to one of my childhood heroes! Swirling around my brain goo has also been an idea to "rip the rippers" or, borrow from those who have borrowed. Completely late to the parody party on this one, but luckily...I don't care. I like it. Who knows, if the mood strikes me, I may honor some of the other heroes from my formative years, or maybe just keep running with Billy.
It absolutely wouldn't be right to parody this little bit of artistic consumerism without making it available to purchase for you lovely folks as well! Please dig deep and gotcha a bunch of T's, Stickers, & Magnets
